The Story of HARA
It started with a shared dream — and the stubborn belief that we could build it with our own hands.
We knew how to teach.
We knew how to hold space for people, to lead classes, to give them the tools to grow.
But building HARA meant becoming much more than teachers.
We became carpenters — measuring wood, cutting, sanding, and building shelves and mat holders late into the night.
We became painters — rolling color onto walls until our arms ached.
We became designers — turning the vision we held in our minds into a space you could walk into.
For three months, our days started at sunrise and ended in darkness.
Seven days a week.
We worked through fatigue, through doubt, through moments where quitting seemed easier.
We pushed each other.
We kept each other accountable.
We celebrated every small win — a wall finished, a piece of furniture built, a sign finally hung.
And somewhere in that grind, we realised something:
If this kind of support, accountability, and shared growth could transform us, we could create a place where others could experience the same.
A place where you’re not just another face in the room.
Where people notice when you show up.
Where someone cheers you on when you push past a limit you thought you had.
Where the harder days don’t feel so heavy because you’re not carrying them alone.
Before HARA, we taught in other studios, in parks, wherever we could.
At one point, I even turned our living room into a gym — kettlebells by the sofa, mats rolled under the bed, furniture pushed aside to make space for movement.
It wasn’t glamorous.
But it was real.
And it was the seed.
Today, HARA stands as the space we once needed ourselves.
A place where movement is not just about training the body, but expanding your entire way of living.
We’re here to help you rise above your current level, break through the limits you think you have, and build deep confidence in your body — no matter where you’re starting from.
Because growth isn’t about rejecting where you are.
It’s about standing fully in it, breathing deeply, and choosing your next step with intention.
That’s what HARA is.
A space to be supported.
A space to be challenged.
A space to be celebrated.
And a reminder that you are already enough — even as you become more.
